In one line

Live chaburos. Distinguished mashpi’im. Delivered to wherever you are learning from this week.

What It Is

A Real Chaburah, Brought to Your Bedside.

The beis medrash is the room you miss most. We rebuild it around you — a seat, a sefer, a chavrusa, a mashpia — on a tablet we set up wherever you are.

A chaburah of five

Capped at five bochurim. Same five, every shiur. You learn names, not usernames.

A mashpia who knows you

The same rav every session. He opens the Gemara with you, not at you.

A tablet we deliver

Pre-configured. Locked to the shiur. One tap in. No passwords, no app store.

Recorded, always

Missed a shiur because of treatment? It waits for you in the library.

The Mashpi’im

The Rabbeim Behind the Chaburos.

Dedicated mashpi’im who are bnei Torah and bnei maasim. Your mashpia is matched to your level — and stays your mashpia.

Haskamos

From the Roshei Yeshiva.

We were built with the guidance of rabbanim who know this generation of bochurim — and the ones who are learning through the hardest weeks of their lives.

The Founding Mashpia
A bochur in a hospital bed is not a former talmid. He is a talmid whose beis medrash moved — and our job is to move with him, with the same kavod and the same seriousness as the room he left.
[PLACEHOLDER QUOTE FROM RABBI GOLDENBERG] Founding Mashpia, Virtual Chaburah

Haskamah — slot 2

[CLIENT TO PROVIDE — Rabbi ___] — quote speaking to the genuine chiddush of bringing a beis medrash to the bedside without diluting the mesorah or the tone of the learning.

How It Works

We Set It Up. You Open the Gemara.

Three steps. The whole thing takes less than a week once a chaburah opens.

Apply in two minutes.

Seven questions. You, a parent, a sibling, or a hospital chaplain can apply. We call within 24 hours — usually the same day.

We match and ship the tablet.

Five bochurim at your level, a mashpia who fits you, a schedule built around treatments. Tablet arrives pre-configured.

You open the Gemara.

One tap in. Live shiur three times a week. Every shiur recorded, so a hard day doesn’t cost you a seder.

Standing & Recognition

The Mosdos Who Stand Behind Us.

Recognition, not gamification. The learning here is tracked the way rebbeim have marked talmidim for generations — and the institutions that already shaped you recognize the work.

  • Siyumim in writing When your chaburah completes a mesechta, your mashpia marks it. You receive a real siyum document with your chaburah’s names.
  • Alumni chaburah Bochurim who learned through treatment stay in touch. You’ll be introduced — they know exactly where you are, because they’ve been there.
  • Recognized by mosdos Yeshivos and kollelim accept our siyumim and mashpia letters as part of a talmid’s record. [CLIENT TO PROVIDE — partner mosdos list.]
  • No leaderboards, no badges The kind of standing that’s meant something in our world for a thousand years. Not a score. A record.
For Families

A Chaburah for Someone You Love.

The questions parents and siblings ask most, answered before you pick up the phone.

Can I apply on my son’s or brother’s behalf?
Yes. A parent, sibling, spouse, rav, or hospital chaplain can apply. The form takes two minutes. We’ll call you first — with your permission, we then reach out to the talmid directly.
Is there any cost?
No. The program is free for every talmid. The tablet, the shiurim, the mashpia — all covered. Virtual Chaburah is a 501(c)(3) non-profit supported by donors who believe learning together is its own mitzvah.
What happens if he’s too weak to learn that day?
Nothing. Every shiur is recorded and waits in his library. The schedule is built around treatments, not against them. The mashpia checks in privately — never a group-chat callout.
What does the tablet actually do — and not do?
It opens directly to the chaburah. No app store, no browser, no social feeds. It is locked to the program and a vetted library of seforim. You can request the tablet back once he’s home.
Will I be able to see how he’s doing?
Yes — with his consent. Families get read-only access: shiurim attended, mesechtos begun, siyumim reached. No audio of shiurim, no private messages with the mashpia. Peace of mind without looking over his shoulder.
